Here at RunThrough we are always looking for likeminded people to join our community. We always value an extra pair of hands and would love for you to come along and help us! From managing stalls at the event village to handing out medals at the finish, our volunteers are a critical part of what make RunThrough events so special!

We organise our staff through Team Kinetic which is a platform that allows you to:
- Sign up to your own events monthly
- Log your own hours to gain achievement badges
- Chat to other volunteers attending the same event as you before the date
- Log feedback for us

What You Could Be Doing on Race Day
Help Impact the Running Community
Supporting fellow runners on the course is a role like no other, you will be ensuring all runners follow the race route, assisting them with any issues they may have during the race and also cheering them on every step of the way! In this role, it is YOUR smiley face which can change a runner's race from a good run to a great run and yes… you will of course get a tambourine to shake all morning!
On race day, you may be lucky enough to be right in the middle of the finish line buzz! As a finish line assistant you will have the job of giving all our amazing runners their one-of-a-kind event medals! You may also be in charge of handing out post race goodies including snacks, water and our famous flapjacks!
You could be an event village host at one of our events. This means you could be the friendly face at the registration desk giving the runners their race numbers, organising and minding the baggage drop, or perhaps managing one of our many event stalls! Event village hosts are also involved in setting up and packing down the event village, interacting with runners and spectators and social media managing.
You could be placed in charge of a water station, meaning that you will ensure that runners passing by can quickly grab some water on their way! You will also be making sure that discarded bottles are cleared from the course and of course cheering the runners as the pass by!
